Nicole Mantini and Anne Merminod admitted to the International Association of Defense Counsel

Torys is pleased to congratulate partners Nicole Mantini and Anne Merminod for being admitted as members of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC).

With an international membership of approximately 2,500 legal professionals, the IADC serves as a global platform for those in the legal profession who are committed to the defense of corporate and insurance entities. This admission is a testament not only to Nicole’s and Anne’s deep legal acumen and commitment to the legal profession, but also to their reputations as outstanding lawyers and leaders on a global stage.

Nicole is a commercial litigator practising in life sciences, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology whose practice extends across patent and trademark litigation, product liability and class actions, and regulatory and judicial review proceedings.

Anne’s experience spans almost 15 years of class actions advocacy for clients across industries. With a deep understanding of the nuances that come with class action proceedings, she represents a wide range of clients, including manufacturers and distributors, pharmaceutical companies, financial institutions, and public companies.

As members of the IADC, Nicole and Anne join partners Sylvie Rodrigue Ad. E. and Grant Worden in helping advance the Association’s mission to serve members, the legal profession, and the civil justice system more broadly by enhancing the development of skills, professionalism, diversity, and camaraderie in the practice of law. They will also work to advance equal opportunity in the legal profession to ensure future leaders reflect the diversity of the communities and clients they serve.
