Alexandra’s practice focuses on defending complex class action lawsuits and appellate advocacy. She is a sought-after litigator, often providing clients with strategic guidance and insights throughout their most complicated class action lawsuits and litigation mandates. Alexandra has advised clients in complex class action matters before all levels of court in Québec and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Prior to joining Torys, Alexandra was a senior associate at a full-service national law firm in Montréal and served as law clerk to Justice Brown of the Supreme Court of Canada. While studying at the University of Oxford, Alexandra was the recipient of the Blavatnik School of Government Public Service Scholarship and served as a Research Fellow at the University of Otago, New Zealand.
Alexandra is currently a member of the Quebec Bar’s expert group on law regarding Indigenous peoples. She regularly contributes to scholarship and professional publications on the topic of class action defence.
