Developments in high-cost lending legislation

In an effort to crack down on predatory lending, provinces across the country have introduced legislation in recent years to regulate high-cost consumer credit. In this session, Torys lawyers will discuss the provincial regimes and how they differ, as well as the latest developments of the criminal interest rate under Canada's Criminal Code.
