After three years of virtual seminars, please join Torys’ Pensions and Employment lawyers in Toronto at our 2024 HR Law Seminar for a discussion about the latest pension and employment law developments. In addition to getting up to speed on key legal issues, this session provides an opportunity to connect in person with other legal, employment and HR professionals across a variety of sectors.
Our panel of speakers will be reviewing important employment and pension law developments from 2023 and will take a look at key issues for the year ahead. Throughout this session we will be addressing, among other things:
- legislative and case law developments from 2023;
- employment class action trends;
- employee privacy (including issues relating to the use of AI);
- racial equity audits;
- executive compensation; and
- key pension issues for employers.
