Tom specializes in pension governance and employment-related matters, including in the context of corporate and commercial transactions. Tom also regularly advises clients regarding the interpretation and application of pension, employment, labour and human rights legislation in the workplace, as well as assisting clients in the drafting and implementation of pension and employment documentation and practices.
Tom is a Guest Lecturer for a Pension Law Course at the University of Toronto as well as for an Advanced Business Law Seminar at the University of Windsor.
Memberships and Affiliations
Tom is the Chair of the Ontario Bar Association Pensions and Benefits Section, and is a member of the Labour and Employment Section and the Administrative Law Section. He is also a member of the Lobbying and Ethics Committee as well as the Pension and Benefits Section for the Canadian Bar Association.
