Parker’s practice focuses on pension and employment law. Parker regularly advises on employment, executive compensation and labour matters, including in connection with corporate and commercial transactions and related disclosure and compliance obligations. He also has experience advising clients on pension investments, the treatment of pensions and benefits in mergers and acquisitions, the interpretation and application of pension legislation and related compliance matters.
In addition, Parker has experience advising on corporate and securities law and has been involved in a wide range of M&A transactions, private placements and public equity and debt offerings (including initial public offerings).
Parker completed a six-month secondment to Duo Bank of Canada in 2020. As a summer student, he also completed a six-week secondment at Scotiabank.
Parker has volunteered with the Laws in Action Within Schools (LAWS) program, a high school program that uses legal education as a tool to assist students to succeed in school and become engaged and active citizens.
