SWIFT Network
Torys acted as counsel to SWIFT, a partnership of rural and regional municipal groups, as the public authority for the C$209 million Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology program to expand broadband internet access to underserved rural areas in Southwestern Ontario.
Through the implementation of critical fibre optic infrastructure, the SWIFT program is expected to make high speed internet available to more than 50,000 premises across Southwestern Ontario.
