Chris' commercial and regulatory practice encompasses contractual disputes, shareholder and oppression litigation, class actions, product liability, complex insolvency, insurance, securities defence, and investment proceedings.
He has been counsel at all levels of court in Ontario, the Supreme Court of Canada, and numerous statutory tribunals and commissions. He also represents clients before arbitral tribunals involving both domestic and international arbitrations, including pursuant to the ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC and AAA rules, among others.

Chris regularly presents at continuing professional development programs and has published articles on topics ranging from domestic and international arbitration to class actions.
In 2021, Chris was appointed to the Executive Committee of the Young Advocates’ Standing Committee, a committee of The Advocates’ Society devoted to promoting the interests and development of young lawyers in the profession across Canada. He will chair the committee in 2023-2024.
He is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Toronto Commercial Arbitration Society and Pro Bono Ontario. Chris also serves on the Gale Cup Committee, the organizing committee for Canada’s oldest national moot court competition.
