IBA Annual Conference Paris 2023

Two Torys partners will speak at the IBA Annual Conference in Paris.

New York partner Darien Leung will speak on the “Stop preaching to the choir! Male champions as catalysts of gender parity in law firms” panel on November 1. This panel will discuss how men can be catalysts for change in the corporate law environment in relation to gender equity and equality.

Calgary partner Stephanie Stimpson will chair the “Finding the balance between decarbonisation, security of supply, a just energy transition and the right economics” panel on November 2. This session will look at some thing lawyers can do to support a fair and balanced transition of the oil and gas sector.
