Co-investors taking different approaches to continuation funds

Institutional Investor has highlighted insight from an article that was a part of the Q3 edition of the Torys Quarterly.

The Institutional Investor article titled “Can Allocators Move Fast Enough for Private Equity’s Hot New Product?” discusses investments into continuation funds despite ongoing industry challenges. An excerpt from the article follows:

According to a report from law firm Torys, co-investors have taken different approaches to continuation funds. Some believe a continuation fund transfer could lead to a lower price for the portfolio company than another general partner may have paid. Because of this, some want to exit their co-investment position. Others are willing to roll, according to Torys.
