LAX's Automated People Mover
Torys acted as counsel to Ansaldo STS, Acciona Concessions and OHL Infrastructure as service providers to LAX Connecting Alliance, a shortlisted proponent for LAX's Automated People Mover (APM) PPP project to design, build, finance, operate and maintain an elevated, 2.25 mile-long guideway with six stations, as well as pedestrian bridges to airport terminals, parking garages and fixed facilities at the Los Angeles International Airport.
The project is a complex and challenging element of the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP), which would create a world-class transportation system.
