Linda is chair of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. She is also a member of Torys’ Competition and Antitrust Practice. Her practice focuses on competition litigation, class action defence, corporate/commercial disputes and securities litigation. She also practises in the areas of public law, constitutional law and employment. Linda has appeared as counsel in the Supreme Court of Canada, in all levels of court in Ontario, and in the Federal Court, as well as before the Competition Tribunal and the Ontario Securities Commission.
Linda is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL).

Linda is a member of the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and The Advocates' Society. She is a past Director of The Advocates' Society, the past Vice-Chair of the Private Actions Committee of the Canadian Bar Association, Competition Law Section and the past Vice-Chair of the Education Committee of The Advocates' Society. She has taught advocacy and lectured on class actions and competition law issues at the Osgoode Hall Law School, the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and at programs run by The Advocates' Society and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
Linda serves a Director for Pro Bono Law Ontario and for MATCH International. She was also the former Director for The Advocates’ Society.

Linda is on the Private Actions Committee, the Criminal Matters Committee and the Reviewable Matters Committee for the National Competition Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association. She is also a member of the Antitrust Law Section of the American Bar Association, The Advocates’ Society and the Toronto Lawyers Association.
