Partner Nicole Mantini will deliver a session as part of the five-day course “Intellectual Property: Understanding Patents”, hosted by McGill University and the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada from July 14-18 in Montréal.
The intensive summer course offers legal, business and government professionals an overview of patents and patenting, along with strategies for establishing, exploiting, enforcing and challenging patents.
Nicole will lead a session titled “Patent Enforcement” on July 16 at 9:30 a.m. This session will cover the differences between provincial and federal actions, exceptions to infringement, validity defenses and options for relief.
