Partner and head of Torys’ Mining and Metals practice Michael Pickersgill will speak at the eighth annual World Association of Mining Lawyers conference in Istanbul, Turkey. Convening legal professionals, academics and policy makers from around the world, the conference will explore the evolving and emerging challenges for mining lawyers and the global mining industry.
Michael will close-out the conference by moderating the final panel discussion on June 4 titled “Reflections from General Counsel”. This panel features general counsel from diverse mining companies who will offer final reflections and analysis related to legal challenges within the mining industry.
