Critical minerals: recent developments in Canada’s approach to foreign investment in the Canadian mining industry

Senior associate Carly Klinkhoff and partner Omar Wakil will both play a role in the Canadian Bar Association's Energy and Natural Resources Program on January 31.

Carly will co-moderate the session, titled “Critical minerals: recent developments in Canada’s approach to foreign investment in the Canadian mining industry”, and Omar will be a panelist. The session will discuss topics such as the Federal Government's critical minerals strategy and policy changes like the recently announced amendments to the Investment Canada Act, among other topics.
