Victoria's practice involves a broad range of commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution. She has represented clients in matters, including class actions, shareholder disputes, securities litigation, contract breaches, financial crime, privacy, and insolvency proceedings. Victoria has acted for clients in large-scale commercial arbitrations and mediations, including cross-border proceedings. She has also appeared as counsel before all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada.
Victoria earned her J.D. from the University of British Columbia, where she received awards for academic excellence, moot court performance, and legal writing. She was actively engaged in legal education, mentoring, and pro bono initiatives throughout law school. To further develop her expertise, Victoria completed an LL.M. at the London School of Economics and Political Science, focusing on the intersection of insolvency and financial crime. While in London, she completed a placement at Middle Temple, training under international arbitrators.
Victoria is active in the community as a board director at Courthouse Libraries BC and volunteer lawyer with Access Pro Bono. She previously acted as a Course Coordinator for UBC’s Allan McEachern Trial Advocacy Course from 2024-2025.
Prior to joining Torys, Victoria was a litigation associate at a national firm in Vancouver.
