Torys congratulates Mark Bain on his reelection as Chair of The CCPPP for the third year running
Infrastructure partner Mark Bain has been reelected for the third consecutive year as Chair of The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP) at its AGM on November 19.
Consistently recognized as one of Canada's leading infrastructure and project finance lawyers, Mark has acted on over 80 major public-private partnership and alternative financing and procurement transactions.
Most recently, Mark was a lead on two out of five projects which were honoured at the prestigious Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnership’s 2019 National Awards for Innovation and Excellence in Public-Private Partnerships. The Tłı̨chǫ All-Season Road was awarded gold in the project development category and Stoney CNG Bus Storage and Transit Facility received silver in the Infrastructure category. Mark has been on the CCPPP board of directors since 2000 and was first elected chair in 2016. This term he will be supported by 23 others on the board of directors.
