Clackamas County Circuit Courthouse
The project won IJGlobal’s 2022 North America Social Infrastructure Deal of the Year.
The new courthouse will measure 258,000 square feet, with 72,149 square feet of courtroom and chamber space, replacing an existing courthouse was built in 1937 to house county offices and a single courtroom, which has been retrofitted over the years to its present configuration of eleven courtrooms.
This is Clackamas County’s first PPP project.
On July 25, 2022, it was announced that Fengate PCL Progress Partners—a consortium consisting of Fengate Capital, PCL Construction, Honeywell International, and DLR Group—was selected as Clackamas County, Oregon’s P3 partner on the project, which reached financial close on August 30, 2022.
Groundbreaking for the project took place on February 3, 2023, with construction scheduled for completion in 2025.
