Lièvre Hydroelectric Portfolio
Torys acted as counsel to Great Lakes Power Trust (now Brookfield Renewable Power Trust) in a C$125 million bridge facility project financing and C$225 million bond financing for Lièvre Power LP in connection with a portfolio of hydroelectric stations in Québec.
The now 263 MW Lièvre portfolio consists of four hydroelectric generating stations on the Lièvre River in Quebec
- Dufferin Generating Station (40 MW)
- High Falls Generating Station (109 MW)
- Masson Generating Station (105 MW)
- Rapides-des-Cèdres Generating Station (9 MW)
The portfolio is owned and operated by Lièvre Power LP, now under Evolugen, by Brookfield Renewable.
