Partners Mark Bain and Josh Van Deurzen will speak at the 2024 P3 conference, which brings together all facets of Canada’s infrastructure industry to explore opportunities to grow and improve public-private partnerships. Hosted by the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP), the conference will take place in Toronto on November 4 and 5.
Mark will moderate the session “The Great Debate: Alliance vs. P3” on the first day of the conference at 10:15 a.m. Delivered through a traditional debate format between diverse industry experts, the session will explore the future of alternative project models and discuss the merits and challenges of the public-private partnership model versus the new model Alliance.
On day two of the conference, Josh will moderate the panel discussion “Getting Bendy with It: The Pressing Need for a New Agility in P3s” at 9:40 a.m. With recent technology and innovations changing the way project agreements are procured, this session will discuss how public-private partnerships can embrace flexibility and evolve to changing needs and objectives.
