IBA Annual Conference 2022

The International Bar Association (IBA) Annual conference will take place from October 30 to November 4 at the Miami Beach Convention Centre. The conference draws together legal professionals from around the world to share knowledge, network and build connections. In addition to a contingent Torys’ partners who will attend the conference, three partners will participate in sessions during IBA’s week-long conference.

Omar Wakil will speak on “Antitrust and distribution – vertical agreements” session on October 31 at 4:15 p.m.

Stephanie Stimpson will speak on “IBA Showcase: bridging diverse interests in the extractive industries” panel on November 1 at 2:30 p.m. In addition, Stephanie will also chair the “Oil and gas M&A and financing in the era of decarbonization” on November 2 at 11:15 a.m.

Julie Himo along with other panelists will speak on “Privacy and expression: the growing conflict in the digital world” session on November 2 at 11:15 a.m.
