Litigation and Dispute Resolution associate Jon Silver will speak at the Ontario Bar Association’s (OBA) Institute Series – Building Communities, on February 4 and 5. The webcast will bring together legal professionals to discuss issues such as emergency response plans, changes to expropriation laws, flooding and drainage issues, litigation in a virtual world, and more.
Jon along with another panelist will speak on “Civil Litigation in a Virtual World” at 3:00 p.m. on February 4. The session will have a particular focus on environmental and municipal matters before the Divisional Court, as well as examine the opportunities and drawbacks of written and virtual hearings, how to work effectively with witnesses and clients, and more.
