Jon Silver’s practice focuses on all areas of litigation and dispute resolution, including business law, public law, and insolvency and restructuring law. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) and the Supreme Court of Canada.

In 2016-2017, Jon served as a law clerk to Justice Wagner of the Supreme Court of Canada. Prior to joining Torys, Jon worked as a student with the judges of the Superior Court of Ontario in Toronto.
Jon was also a senior editor for the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and a Dean’s Fellow in Tort Law.
