Torys is excited to welcome David Ferris, who has joined the firm as partner in the Banking and Debt Finance group.
David has more than 20 years of experience in banking and financial services law, with a particular focus on corporate and commercial finance. His practice covers syndicated lending, leveraged finance, mining finance, and M&A, servicing clients across the banking, financial services, mining and metals, automotive and manufacturing, technology and telecommunications, transportation and retail sectors.
David brings decades of experience advising Canada’s leading financial institutions. His arrival further strengthens our nationally recognized, Chambers-ranked Band 1 Banking and Debt Finance practice, which is known for structuring and executing lending transactions across the spectrum of financing facilities for some of Canada’s largest organizations, banks and pension plans, and high-profile, special-situations lenders.
