Torys ranked #1 in Canadian issuer debt for the first half of 2025 by LSEG

LSEG has ranked Torys number 1 in All Canada Debt by deal count in its Issuer Legal Advisor table. The table is part of LSEG’s Global Capital Markets Legal Review for the first half of FY 2025.

Torys was ranked at the top after completing 9 deals in the first half of 2025. Notable deals include:

• British Columbia Investment Management Corporation, in respect of the assets of the Combined Funds which it holds in trust, in a C$1.5 billion private placement of 4.00% senior unsecured notes, Series 3, due 2035
• Brookfield Asset Management in its US$750 million inaugural cross-border public offering of 5.795% senior notes, due 2035
• Avenue Living in its C$250 million private placement of 5.109% senior unsecured notes, Series A, due 2030
