Torys was ranked number 1 after being credited on 63 deals in 2022 with Canadian involvement, totaling more than $39 billion in overall deal value.

Pembina Gas Infrastructure, a joint venture between KKR and Pembina Pipeline Corporation, in the disposition of its 50% non-operated interest in the Key Access Pipeline System (KAPS), a 560 km natural gas liquids (NGL) and condensate pipeline system that transports natural gas liquids between Western Canada's Montney and Duvernay fields in northwestern Alberta to a liquids processing and storage hub at Fort Saskatchewan

This ranking follows the Q3 announcement where Torys was ranked number 1 by deal value by Refinitiv, Bloomberg and Mergermarket.
Torys' ranking was mentioned by the Globe and Mail in its article on Canadian banking in 2022.
