Torys partner named Product Liability Litigator of the Year at the 2022 Benchmark Canada Awards

We are delighted to share that Montréal office Managing Partner and head of Torys’ national Class Actions and Product Liability practice groups, Sylvie Rodrigue, Ad. E., has been named Product Liability Litigator of the Year at the 2022 Benchmark Canada Awards.

This is the second time that Sylvie has been recognized with this award, a testament to her exceptional advocacy, client service and creative strategy in dispute resolution.

Sylvie’s excellence in product liability litigation is widely acknowledged. She has been featured on Benchmark Litigation’s Top 50 Women Litigators in Canada list seven times for her outstanding practice. She is also consistently named a leading lawyer in product liability by the legal community, including Chambers Canada, LMG Life Sciences, Best Lawyers in Canada, Who’s Who Legal and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. In 2014, Sylvie was awarded the designation of Advocatus Emeritus by the Québec Bar, a distinction awarded to only a few legal practitioners each year.
