Torys Montréal Celebrates a Fantastic Five Years

Today we come together to celebrate five years since the opening of our Montréal office.

What started in 2013 as a small (yet powerful) team made of partner Sylvie Rodrigue and one associate has now grown into a powerhouse group made of three partners, seven associates and incoming law students.

The office specializes in class actions and commercial litigation work, but has built a reputation for quality across a broad range of expertise. Something that makes the team particularly unique is their ability to handle matters in common law and civil law jurisdictions, as many are called to both the Québec and Ontario Bar.

When asked what the key to Torys Montréal’s success is, Sylvie said, “We handpicked people who we knew would thrive in our culture, and that’s not easy to find. The culture of the firm is protected like gold and we’ll never compromise it.”
