Rima Ramchandani Tells the Post Corporate Governance a Key Area of Attention this Reporting Season
Partner Rima Ramchandani has spoken with the Financial Post about this year’s proxy season and what boardroom issues are expected to be the hot topics in 2018.
Rima’s comments in the article comes off the back of the Torys Quarterly piece authored by her—along with David Seville, Glen Johnson and Sophia Tolias—which discusses a broad range of corporate governance considerations that will influence this year’s reporting season.
“The focus on good corporate governance is as pronounced as ever,” Rima told the Financial Post.
She also added corporate governance was increasingly “becoming a key area of attention in the boardroom.”
The Financial Post also mentions other key points made by our lawyers, reporting that our article “referred to gender diversity as a key area for corporations to address given recent “changes introduced by ISS” and plans for 2019 unveiled by Glass Lewis.”
