Torys partner Dan Ford acted as counsel to The Healthcare Infrastructure Company of Canada (Borealis/Carillion/EllisDon) as the successful proponent for the C$180 million Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre PPP project to design, build, finance and maintain a new facility in Ottawa, Ontario.
The 400,000 square-foot complex consists of
two symmetrical, two-storey in-patient care units
an office tower containing research, education and administration
a 200,000 square-foot central area housing outreach services, outpatient care, patient services and education and research functions
