East Lake St. Clair Wind Farm
Torys acted as counsel to ENGIE Canada (previously International Power Canada Inc., then GDF SUEZ Canada Inc.) in its acquisition, development, financing and construction of its 99 MW East Lake St. Clair Wind Farm located along the eastern shoreline of Lake St. Clair in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, Ontario.
The facility, which reached commercial operation in May 2013, consists of 55 Vestas V90 1.8 MW – IEC Class II turbines.
