Manulife Financial completes a US public offering of 4.986% senior notes
On December 11, 2025, Manulife Financial Corporation (“Manulife”) closed its previously announced public offering of US$1,000,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 4.986% senior notes due 2035 in the United States, at a public offering price of 100%.
BofA Securities, Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC acted as joint book-running managers for the offering, which was made pursuant to a preliminary prospectus supplement, dated December 2, 2025, to the Manulife's registration statement declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission on September 29, 2025.
Manulife intends to use the net proceeds from the sale for general corporate purposes, which may include future refinancing requirements.
