Brookfield Corporation completes C$1 billion notes offering
On December 11, 2025, Brookfield Corporation (“Brookfield”) completed a public offering of C$1 billion aggregate principal amount of medium-term notes, comprised of C$350 million aggregate principal amount of medium term notes due March 1, 2033, which bear interest at a rate of 4.388% per annum, payable semi-annually and C$650 million aggregate principal amount of medium term notes due December 11, 2055, which bear interest at a rate of 5.399% per annum, payable semi-annually.
The notes were offered through a syndicate of agents led by CIBC Capital Markets, RBC Capital Markets, TD Securities, BMO Capital Markets, National Bank Financial Markets and Scotiabank.
Net proceed from the offering were used by Brookfield to fund the redemption of its 4.82% medium term notes due January 28, 2026 and for general corporate purposes.
