Emera commences trading on the New York Stock Exchange

On May 22, 2025, Emera Inc. (“Emera”) announced that it received approval to list its common shares on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”). Emera’s common shares began trading on the NYSE on May 28, 2025, under the ticker symbol “EMA”—the same symbol the common shares currently, and will continue to, trade under in Canadian dollars on the Toronto Stock Exchange (the “TSX”).

Emera also registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) on Form 40-FR under the multijurisdictional disclosure system (“MJDS”) adopted by the United States and Canada.
