Fairfax India completes US$500 million senior notes offering

On February 26, 2021, Fairfax India Holdings Corporation (“Fairfax India”) completed its previously announced private offering of US$500,000,000 of senior notes due 2028 at an issue price of 100%. The notes are unsecured obligations of Fairfax India and pay a fixed rate of interest of 5.000% per annum.

Fairfax India intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay most of the indebtedness currently outstanding under its secured term loan facility.
