Fresno State University Central Heating and Cooling Plant Modernization
Torys acted as counsel to Victor E Energy Partners (Fengate/Veolia) as a shortlisted proponent for the Fresno State Central Heating and Cooling Plant Modernization PPP project to design, build, finance and maintain the upgrade and modernization of the university’s central heating and cooling plant as well as the ancillary infrastructure.
As part of the project, the university will replace the central heating and cooling plant equipment, chilled water and heating, hot water piping distribution systems, energy management controls, and HVAC systems in buildings.
The project also involves the implementation of various other energy efficiency upgrades across the campus.
Fresno State is one of 23 campuses within the California State University system.
Torys acted as counsel with a team led by Tara Mackay.
