Corner Brook Long Term Care Home
Torys acted as counsel to the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Western Regional Health Authority as the public authorities for the C$120 million Corner Brook Long-Term Care PPP project to design, build, finance and maintain a new 145-bed long-term care facility in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The new facility will be a state-of-the-art elder care campus that will accommodate 120 long-term care beds, as well as 15 palliative care beds and 10 rehabilitative care beds.
On December 15, 2017, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Western Regional Health Authority signed a 30-year agreement worth approximately C$120 million with Corner Brook Care Partnership—a consortium comprised of Plenary Group, as the developer, Marco Services and G.J. Cahill, as the design-builder, and G.J. Cahill as the service provider—on the project.
