NTT DATA acquires Dell Services for US$3.055 billion

On March 28, 2016, NTT DATA, Inc. (NTT DATA) and Dell Inc. (Dell) announced that they entered into a definitive agreement for NTT DATA to acquire Dell Services, an IT services provider recognized for its depth in vertical industries and for its offerings around infrastructure services, cloud services, application services, and business process outsourcing.

Following receipt of customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, the transaction closed on November 2, 2016.

Citigroup acted as lead financial advisor to Dell Inc. Wells Fargo Securities acted as lead financial advisor to NTT DATA, Inc., along with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC.
