Brookfield Renewable completes C$250 million secondary offering of limited partnership units

On March 13, 2013, Brookfield Renewable Power Inc. completed a secondary offering of 8,065,000 limited partnership units (the "LP Units") of Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners L.P. ("BREP"), for total gross proceeds of approximately C$250 million.
The LP Units were distributed under BREP's short form base shelf prospectus dated January 23, 2012, as supplemented by a prospectus supplement dated March 6, 2013.
The offering of the LP Units was co-led by Scotia Capital Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and TD Securities Inc. and also included Barclays Capital Canada Inc. BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Canada Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (Canada), Inc., HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., Merrill Lynch Canada Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., Raymond James Ltd., Brookfield Financial Corp., Canaccord Genuity Corp., FirstEnergy Capital Corp., GMP Securities L.P., Jacob Securities Inc. and Stifel Nicolaus Canada Inc.
