Barrie Transit Facility
Torys acted as counsel to the City of Barrie as the public authority for the Barrie Transit Facility PPP project to design, build and finance the construction of a new transit facility and to operate and maintain the City of Barrie's bus fleet.
The project included the construction of a new 108,000 square-foot transit facility, with indoor storage for 85 buses, vehicle maintenance and servicing areas, maintenance lifts, washing and fuelling station, a fare collection area, and operations and administrative space.
Torys acted as counsel with a team that included Mark Bain and Christie Kneteman.
