Brookfield Asset Management completes C$425 million notes offering

On April 9, 2012, Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (TSX/NYSE: BAM; EURONEXT: BAMA) completed an offering of C$425 million principal amount of 3.95% medium term notes due April 9, 2019 (the notes). The notes were offered through a syndicate of agents led by CIBC World Markets Inc., Scotia Capital Inc. and TD Securities Inc., and included RBC Dominion Securities Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., National Bank Financial Inc. and HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc.
