Sun Life Financial completes C$300 million public offering of preferred shares

On November 10, 2011, Sun Life Financial Inc. (Sun Life) announced the successful completion of a Canadian public offering of C$300 million of Class A Non-Cumulative Rate Reset Preferred Shares Series 12R at a price of C$25.00 per share and yielding 4.25% annually. The offering, initially for C$250 million of Series 12R Shares, was increased to C$300 million following exercise by the underwriting syndicate, co-led by Scotia Capital Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc. and TD Securities Inc., of an option to purchase an additional C$50 million of Series 12R shares.
