Manulife Financial Corporation completes offering of C$900 million medium term notes

On August 20, 2010, Manulife Financial Corporation completed an offering of C$900 million principal amount of 4.079% medium term notes due 2015, pursuant to its medium term note program. The notes were issued under a pricing supplement dated August 17, 2010 to Manulife's short form base shelf prospectus dated May 8, 2009, amending and restating the short form base shelf prospectus dated March 30, 2009, and prospectus supplement dated April 21, 2009.
The notes were offered through a dealer syndicate led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc.
