Stoney Nakoda Casino
Torys partners Mark Bain and Tara Mackay acted as counsel to Corpfinance International in the C$36.4 million project financing of the Stoney Nakoda Casino, the first stage of the Stoney Nakoda Resort and Casino under development by the Nakoda First Nation on territorial lands in Morley, Alberta.
Alberta’s only casino in the Rocky Mountains, the Stoney Nakoda Casino reached commercial operation in June 2008.
