Sun Life Financial completes C$400 million offering of subordinated unsecured debentures

On January 30, 2008, Sun Life Financial Inc. (Sun Life) completed a public offering of C$400 million principal amount of subordinated unsecured 5.59% fixed/floating debentures due 2023. The offering was co-led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and Merrill Lynch Canada Inc., and the agency syndicate included CIBC World Markets, HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., and TD Securities Inc.
