Alexandra’s practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution in a variety of areas, including complex commercial disputes, securities, construction and real estate. She has appeared as counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the British Columbia Supreme Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Alexandra also represents and advises corporations, boards and board committees in respect of transactions.
Prior to law school, Alexandra worked at an environmental start-up.
Alexandra is a member of The Advocates’ Society. She has served two two-year terms on the Young Advocates Standing Committee (YASC), a committee of The Advocates’ Society devoted to promoting the interests and development of young lawyers in the profession across Canada. In 2022, Alexandra was appointed to the Executive Committee of YASC, she will chair the committee in 2024-2025.
Alexandra regularly works on pro bono cases and with pro bono organizations. She volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario’s hotline, where she provides summary legal advice to vulnerable Ontarians. Alexandra has organized a pro bono amicus program at the Commercial List to assist self-represented litigants at Toronto’s specialized commercial court.
Alexandra is a member of Torys’ Women in Law Affinity Group and Dress for Success campaign and has participated in Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build.
