Rob practises corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate finance. Rob has experience in both public and private M&A transactions and has represented issuers, investment banks and investors in a variety of public and private offerings, venture financings and co-investment transactions. Rob also provides guidance to public company clients on ongoing corporate governance and securities law matters.
While in law school, Rob was awarded the Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP Research Prize in Corporate/Commercial Law, the Dominic Carinci Memorial Prize and the Bruce Lokash Memorial Prize.
Rob was also recognized as a CIS Academic All-Canadian while playing varsity basketball for the Queen’s University Golden Gaels.

While in law school, Rob was a research assistant for the Justice & Corporate Accountability Project.
During university, Rob volunteered with the Books and Basketball program, an elementary school program in Kingston that uses basketball as a tool to encourage a love for reading. During law school, Rob volunteered with the Osgoode Hall Small Business Clinic. While at Torys, Rob volunteered for Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS), a high school program that uses legal education as a tool to assist students to succeed in school and become engaged and active citizens.
