Brett’s practice focuses on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. He advises public companies, boards, special committees and senior management on strategic transactions, governance matters and other critical situations, including activism defense.

Brett has experience advising acquirors, sponsors, major shareholders and financial advisors on acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic matters. He also represents both issuers and investment banks in a variety of public offerings and private placements of debt and equity and regularly advises public company clients on ongoing corporate governance, stock exchange and securities law matters.
