Stephanie’s practice mainly focusses on employment matters in the context of major corporate transactions. She routinely works closely with public and private companies, private equity firms and insurance companies, providing strategic and innovative advice on employment matters in both buyer-side and seller-side transactions, such as successor employer obligations, reviewing transactional agreements, preparing and negotiating executive employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements and consulting agreements, retention and change of control agreements, and equity and non-equity compensation plans.
Stephanie is also heavily involved in the post-closing integration of her clients. Stephanie’s practice also includes advising leading employers in Québec on many aspects of employment law, notably relating to employment standards, employment agreements, restrictive covenants, assignment of intellectual property, workplace policies and both individual terminations and collective dismissals. In this context, Stephanie also provides on-site training for clients.
