Wendes practises corporate and commercial law with a focus on technology and privacy matters. She has advised on complex services engagements, privacy and security issues, strategic partnerships and software licensing, as well as corporate governance and risk management matters.
During her first year of law school, Wendes worked as a legal research summer student at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, where she had the opportunity to work closely with clerks and judges.
Wendes serves as an Executive Member of the Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association, along with the Women in Technology Committee of CAN-TECH.
